COVID-19 Response

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Student Affairs Office at IITGN played a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the campus community. The institute developed a COVID-19 dashboard to provide real-time updates and projections on the pandemic's progression, which helped in effective decision-making and resource allocation. Additionally, IITGN was proactive in organizing vaccination drives, ensuring that over 900 students received vaccines ahead of the government's eligibility schedule.

The institute also extended its support to broader relief efforts by donating significant funds to the PM CARES Fund and the West Bengal Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for COVID-19 and Cyclone Amphan relief.
