Cultural Clubs

The Cultural Clubs at IIT Gandhinagar are handled by the Cultural Council and the Cultural Secretary. There are currently 10 total clubs that are active, and admission is done variably through Google forms or through individual assessments.

The Photography Club offers opportunities for students to cultivate photography skills through events, workshops, and competitions, in addition to hosting exhibitions for sharing and documenting pictures taken by the student community of IIT Gandhinagar.

Abhinaya | Drama Club

Abhinaya, the Drama Club, engages acting and theatre enthusiasts in script writing, acting, and film production. It presents social issue-based dramas during Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. The club actively participates in street plays, short film creation, and ongoing sitcoms.

Cinematheque | Movie Club

Cinematheque screens classic and art-house films, fostering intellectual discussions and entertainment. The club aims to build a rich archive of films, documentaries, and short films, showcasing them based on themes like patriotism, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.

Orenda

Orenda, the Gender and Sexuality Club, facilitates conversations, disagreements, and revisitations on societal ideas. It conducts talks, screenings, and collaborates on performances, workshops, and interdisciplinary conversations, serving as the campus queer support group.

Palette | Art Club

The Quizzing Society is a community of avid quizzers participating in intra-college and external events. It conducts large-scale open quizzes and series, fostering knowledge sharing and representation at external events.

Sargam | Music Club

Sargam, the Music Club, offers opportunities to join bands, perform at cultural events, and appreciate various music genres. The club provides lessons in Hindustani Classical vocals and Guitar, organizes concerts, competitions, and the annual singing competition "MuSTY."
