Technical Council

The Technical Council, alternatively known as the Tech Council, is a group of students led by the Technical Secretary, from the Student Council. Almost every student-led or student-centric event of a technical nature at IIT Gandhinagar (with the notable exception of the institute Technical Summit, Amalthea), is coordinated and led by the Technical Council.

Admission to the Technical Council beginning in 2023, has been established to be an arduous process, involving multiple stages of assessments and interviews, especially for entrance to the Technical Clubs (see Club Induction Assignments for more information). Nevertheless, the Technical Council has remained one of the more prestigious associations at IIT Gandhinagar.
